Boring Alienware Support Log

Placed another call to Alienware support for my new computer systems. The one I’m working on at the moment doesn’t seem able to burn CDs. Initial wait was for 9:53 minutes. Ann-Marie is today’s tech of the Day. Told her about the SCSI/IDE command aborted error that Nero is throwing when I try to burn a CD.

She managed to id me at 12:14.

Had me delete driver and remove nero. Had me reinstall nero. Put me back on hold at 23:03 minutes into the call. back at 24:47. Put back on hold at 38:05. Back at 44:15. thinks it’s an old version of nero. Updated version of nero. Still doesn’t work. Got off the phone after 55 minutes of horsing around with crapola they should have tested.

I ended the call in the hopes that next time I get a tech who has half a clue.
