It’s crap like this that makes Arkansas(I don’t have experience with New Mexico) such a weird damn place to visit. A pal of mine considered working his way through college while he was down there. The teamsters would have required his first month’s wages in order to join the union. So instead he just took out more student loans. And I know I’d never make plans to establish a business there.
Perhaps that’s one of the most amazing things about Wal-Mart…that it emerged from a highly unionized state.
