falsehoods about cars

You should drive the speed limit because cars are more fuel efficient at the speed limit.
This has never made any sense to me. Following this train of logic the Germans would be getting like 4 MPG on the autobahn. So I ran out and checked it out today. I was right. Whatever dumbass ever came up with this logic should be fucking smacked. I drove for 20 minutes at the speed limit(55) and 20 minutes at my preferred rate(speed limit + 13 MPH.) Overall gas consumption was higher at the slower speed by 1 MPG.
