Gonzo? Isn’t he the guy with the nose?

It’s alright stuff but it’s so dark that you better have some resilient mental health if you want to plumb the depths of how shitty our culture can be.
Spent the night at Chilli and Lynne’s last night. Watched Saving Private Ryan. Good film. We were drinking margaritas that were leftover from his party a week ago. I fixed up a crappy old Huffy that I saved from someone’s trash and rode it over to his place. Figured I’d get in a little exercise before I started throwing uppercuts at my liver. The bike didn’t need a ton of work. Installed a pedal, lubed the chain, installed some lights and a new front tube. Whallah, I’ve got a bike that I can ride on a whim. I don’t need special shoes or lycra or any of that shit. But I do NEED a better seat. That thing is vicious.
Now I’m all jazzed up from coffee at Bob Evan’s and need to find a project to spend some time on. I should mow, but I’m not feeling it right now. Perhaps I’ll get to it at around 6:30 tonight when it starts cooling down.
