Posted by dumbwhore on November 28th, 2006 filed in Uncategorizedwork is ok, I suppose. I made a big attempt to get a big responsibility pay jump….hence the absence…and I unfortunately failed. So then I spent a few months sulking and now I’m moving on to another chance for further greatness….
Although the attempt taught me a bit about myself. Perhaps I don’t want to be an important cog in the machine. Perhaps I just want to garden, be lazy, write novels, whatever. So I have decided that employment is not for me. Thus, the latest drive is redefined to letting me free my corporate bonds. But I’m weening myself from the delectable tit that is Forture 500 pay. First I’m buying a house deeper in the metro that will be acquired with cash only. Then I’ll probably work for the corporate bastards for a few more years but sock away a crap ton in savings.
Then you may get to meet a new painter/poet/unemployed jackass version of me.
