Specialist Jeremy Hall suing the DOD and Robert Gates

Interestingly enough he doesn’t even want any money.  He just wants his fellow soldiers to stop treating him like shit for not being a Christian.  I’ve mentioned Jeremy and his troubles before, here.

It’s ironic that while Jeremy and the military are defending our First Amendment rights that he is asked to exercise his first amendment right.  Now there are lots of rights that you’re not really expected to exercise while in the military, like Freedom of Speech or Freedom of The Press, but religion is different.  Or at least that’s what Jeremy thinks and that’s what he’s suing for.
